Marzieh’s place was a wonderful stay for our family of 4. Parking was simple and plentiful and this AirBnB was ideally located for visiting numerous destinations around The Netherlands. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed coming back to the peaceful lakeside surroundings each day. The supermarket in Aaslmeer is very convenient and we had one of the best meals of our trip at the restaurant across the street. When it was time to fly back to the U.S., the airport was an easy 10-12 minute drive and returning the car was also very easy. Skip the hectic atmosphere of Amsterdam and stay like a local. You won’t regret it!

  Marzieh’s comfortable and very well-designed “Water Villa” is full of thoughtful touches, including a large bunch of fresh Hydrangea flowers on the dining room table upon our arrival. The view across the water, along with the constant movement of all kinds of boats was mesmerizing. To sit out on the mini-deck with a good cup of Nespresso lungo makes for a great start of the day. We appreciated how quickly Marzieh had answers to all of our questions. Thank you for an amazing time at a unique location!

  The property was gorgeous! Loved being on the water and really felt so peaceful. Was able to feel right at home with clean rooms and kitchen. It is a bit of a ways from Amsterdam and some of the local transportation which is where we spent our evenings but a great spot to get away from the craziness of the city. If you are looking to commute to Amsterdam from here, I would recommend banking on Ubers/Bolt.

  A great place on the water! Peaceful, quiet, comfy beds! A little far from downtown Amsterdam but if you want to be out of town this is a great stay. The host was super helpful and even set us up with a taxi service. Would stay again.

  Beautiful boat house. Marzieh welcomed us with gorgeous fresh flowers all over the house. There was coffee and tea for our use, and the house was clean and warm and welcoming. Marzieh was very responsive. We loved our stay there and would definitely be back!
