beautiful house on the water! this home had everything we needed as a small family. the bathroom was a bit small but that was expected. the only thing to make note of is the walk to the house from the parking lot, you have to carry your luggage so as to not make noise and this might be difficult for some folks.

would stay here again, ideally in summer!

  Fantastic place! Beautiful location and the kids were thrilled with their room and being “underwater” while sleeping. Great kitchen and bedding and extremely clean.

  Mazieh’s houseboat was so lovely. Firstly, it was not only perfectly clean but absolutely comfortable. I highly recommend this spot!

  The property is an architecturally jewel, with a very nice view of the lake. It has a surfeit of stuff and it is very comfortable. It is quiet and the neighbors are kind and helpful. The sleeping quarters can be heated comfortably. The place is also close to several good restaurants.

We booked the place for a 3-day stay, but had to leave to visit a sick friend at the beginning of the rental and did not come back until late the next day, so we essentially had just a little over one full day for the place.

In that short period it was difficult to figure out how the oven and how the TV controls worked. The instructions for the oven were in Portuguese, Greek, and Dutch, the instructions for the TV were in German. We speak Dutch and German, so that helps, but still time-consuming. We called Marzieh for help and left a message, but she said she never received the message.

  Marzieh’s place was a wonderful stay for our family of 4. Parking was simple and plentiful and this AirBnB was ideally located for visiting numerous destinations around The Netherlands. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed coming back to the peaceful lakeside surroundings each day. The supermarket in Aaslmeer is very convenient and we had one of the best meals of our trip at the restaurant across the street. When it was time to fly back to the U.S., the airport was an easy 10-12 minute drive and returning the car was also very easy. Skip the hectic atmosphere of Amsterdam and stay like a local. You won’t regret it!

  Beautifully decorated, exactly as described and a gorgeous setting on the water. Marzieh responds quickly and supported my request for a change in dates without question. I wish we would have been able to spend more time. Slept like a baby and fell in love with the shower😊.
